Gary G. Ramsey, M.D.
Dr. Ramsey earned his Doctor of Medicine from UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine — one of the most prestigious medical schools in the United States — and brings 24 years of dedicated experience in assisted reproduction and obstetrics/gynecology.
As Medical Director of Saipan IVF Center, Dr. Ramsey oversees all clinical protocols and personally consults on complex cases. His specializations include IVF for mature patients, premature ovarian failure (POF), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), repeated implantation failure (RIF), and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Dr. Ramsey is a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and board-certified through the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He consults in English and works with our Mandarin-speaking coordinators to ensure every patient fully understands their treatment plan.

Irena Lalic, MSc
With 35 years of clinical experience in embryology and IVF, Irena Lalic is one of the most experienced embryologists in Asia. She holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Zagreb and a Master of Science in Clinical Embryology from the University of Leeds, UK.
Irena oversees all embryological procedures at SIVF, including egg assessment, ICSI fertilization, embryo culture, blastocyst biopsy, and vitrification. Her three-decade record spans thousands of successful IVF cycles across multiple countries.
Her particular expertise is in difficult cases — low ovarian reserve, poor fertilization history, and maximizing blastocyst yield from challenging stimulation responses.

Ivo Karac, MSc
Ivo Karac brings 11 years of specialized experience in human embryology, with particular expertise in cutting-edge laboratory techniques. He holds an MSc in Molecular Biology and is a PhD candidate at the University of Zagreb.
As an ASRM-authenticated embryologist, Ivo's credentials meet the most rigorous professional standards in reproductive medicine. His technical specializations include ICSI, embryo biopsy, PGS/PGD genetic testing, NICS (non-invasive chromosomal screening), and immature egg IVM culture.
His research focus is on improving embryo selection methods and embryological laboratory quality systems.

Rose Wang is our Head Nurse and a cornerstone of patient care at Saipan IVF Center. A graduate of the University of Phoenix, she holds a registered nursing license in the Northern Mariana Islands, USA.
With 15 years of nursing management experience, Rose leads all clinical nursing operations and patient care coordination. She is the primary point of contact for patients throughout their treatment cycle, ensuring that every clinical step is executed safely, compassionately, and on schedule.
Rose's calm, attentive approach is consistently cited by our patients as one of the most valued aspects of their experience at SIVF.

Dr. Michael Koning
Dr. Michael Koning brings a unique dual background in embryology and anesthesia. He holds a Master of Biology and a Doctor of Clinical Embryology from the University of Zagreb.
His 9 years devoted to human embryology give him a deep understanding of the IVF process from a laboratory perspective, which directly informs his anesthetic approach during egg retrieval — ensuring procedures are safe, comfortable, and perfectly timed to laboratory requirements.
Dr. Koning administers light intravenous sedation for all egg retrieval procedures, with careful attention to patient safety and recovery.

Evelyn Pangelinan, ARN
Evelyn Pangelinan is a lifelong Northern Mariana Islands resident and an Advanced Registered Nurse (ARN) with 11 years of clinical experience at Marianas Medical Center.
Her deep roots in the CNMI community give her a unique ability to help patients feel at home in Saipan. Evelyn provides compassionate bedside care and patient support throughout the treatment process — from the first monitoring appointment to post-retrieval recovery.
